General Information About The Programme

The Arabic Language Teaching Department was founded in 1984. In the academic staff, there are 1 associate professor, 4 assistant professors, 3 research assistants and 3 instructors. Prior to the 4-year undergraduate programme, the students have to succeed in the preparatory school of one year. Those who do well in the proficiency exam may be admitted to the first year.

Those who finish the undergraduate programme are certificated as Arabic language teachers. The MA and PhD programmes are given by the Gazi University, Institute of Educational Sciences.
